Desmond Drive: Music
Isn't It a Wonder
(Desmond Drive)
Look at that little bird. He bumps his nose against the tree
Look at that little squirrel. He always runs away from me
Look at my grandpa now. He's floating up among the trees
And isn't it a wonder
Grandpa has got no wings, I wonder how he stays up there
Mama has gone to sleep, you know she has the strangest hair
Look at her picnic box, its pieces scattered everywhere
And isn't it a wonder
This world has so much that is strange and new
I'm so amazed by it all now aren't you, arent' you!
Grandpa does somersaults, he's laughing as he dives and soars
And isn't it a wonder
Mama wakes up to see that grandpa still is floating high
Mama goes back to sleep. She doesn't need a lullaby
Look at that little dog. He's barking as he's running by
And isn't it a wonder
